I'm thrilled about this upcoming session of Music and Sensory classes!
My love for music began from watching a high school student playing piano. I was so inspired by her beautiful music, that I wanted to start piano lessons when I was 8 years old. Over the next decade, I dedicated myself to piano, and in Grade 5, I ventured into playing the flute as well. Despite attempting to convince my parents that mastering "Guitar Hero" was sufficient for learning the guitar, they wisely enrolled me in guitar lessons – a decision I now appreciate! Music has become my passion, and I feel fortunate to share that enthusiasm with young minds through rhythm and play.
Our Musical Littles’ weekly music classes cater to children aged newborn to 4 years old, introducing them to the joy of music. Each week, we explore a variety of songs centered around specific themes like vehicles, bodies, or animals. These songs help children grasp musical elements such as "fast and slow," "go and stop," and "loud and soft." Through the use of shakers and dance moves, we actively engage their minds, fostering a deeper appreciation for music each week.
This upcoming semester is especially exciting as I am introducing a new toddler Sensory Class, Our Creative Littles. Each week will feature different activities designed to expose children to various textures and develop new motor skills. The beauty of our Sensory Class is that you can enjoy all the fun without worrying about the cleanup at home!
I look forward to learning more about the world through your child's perspective in these classes! You can access the schedule and registration here.
